Cleveland Park Halloween Parade is Back!
Thanks to CPCA and many volunteers, the Halloween Parade returns this year! Everybody is welcome, and the organizers encourage everyone – whether you’ve got little ones at home or not – to come celebrate Halloween with our youngest neighbors.
The festivities will begin at Macomb Park about 3:30pm, on Tuesday 10/31. The parade itself will begin around 4:00, and proceed up to 35th, east along Lowell, back north along 36th, east past Rosedale, back to 35th, and finishing up with pizza – provided by CPCA – back at Macomb Park before the kiddos head out to trick-or-treat.
Trivia Night Fundraiser at Nanny O'Briens tonight at 7:30pm!
Thanks to Cleveland Park Main Street (CPMS). There’s a $10 suggested donation per player. Fifty percent of sales of Chacho Distillery's Chacharitas will also go to CPMS.
Cleveland Park Businesses Celebrating Halloween
It's not a trick! Come out to Cleveland Park on Halloween for Halloween Treats on Tuesday October 31st. Check CPMS Instagram Page to see which of your favorite Cleveland Park Businesses are passing out candy and what time. https://www.instagram.com/cleparkmainstdc/
Latest Information for Fall Leaf Collection
The Department of Public Works (DPW) will conduct leaf collection service October 30, 2023, through January 20, 2024, to residents who receive DPW trash and recycling services. Check out the real time leaf collection tracker brought to you by Bob the Blower! Thanks to enhanced tracking capabilities, DPW can better predict when leaf collections will occur in your section. While a full calendar won’t be posted in advance this year, residents will still get at least one weeks’ notice through a variety of communications channels. Leaf collections will still occur twice in each section. Every Friday, DPW will provide residents with a message explaining when they should rake out based on the sections being collected in the upcoming week. The website shows where those messages and the leaf collection map will be found.
